The 2007 Acura Classic has announced a partial advance schedule to help tennis fans make their ticket plans.
On Monday, which has been designated as Family Night, former three-time Acura Classic champion Venus Williams will play her first-round match against Russia’s Anastasia Rodionova at 7 p.m.
On Family Night, admission is free to all kids under the age of 16 accompanied by an adult. Tickets must be purchased on Monday at the Acura Classic window with adults and children present.
On Tuesday night at 7 p.m. seventh-seeded Martina Hingis will play her second-round match against the winner of Monday’s first-round match between Michaella Krajicek and a qualifier.
Following that match, second-seeded Jelena Jankovic will play her second-round match against the winner of Monday’s Asia Muhammed / Vania King first-round match.
Defending champion and top seeded Maria Sharapova will begin the defense of her Acura Classic title on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. She will face the winner of the first-round match between Laura Granville and Tamarine Tanasugarn.
