It’s Quarterfinal Friday at the Acura Classic! Patty Schnyder of Switzerland will take on Nadia Petrova of Russia in the opening day session match on Stadium Court at 10 a.m. Following that match, top-seed and defending champion Maria Sharapova of Russia will face India’s Sania Mirza. The third match on Stadium Court will feature an All-Russian match between Elena Dementieva and Maria Kirilenko. Former three-time Acura Classic champion Venus Williams will take the court against Anna Chakvetadze of Russia. The top-seeded doubles team of Cara Black of Zimbabwe and American Liezel Huber will also be in action on the Grandstand in a match scheduled for the afternoon.
